GUESS WHAT???

Remember my last post?

Mindy, creator of the Child Training Bible has gifted a set of Child Training Bible Charts for a give-away here at Napalm in the Morning!  What a blessing!

Entering is simple.  Ready?

Visit Mindy and get a feel for what The Child Training Bible is all about.

That's all there is to it!

I'll throw everyone's name into a hat (literally!) and one of my children will draw the winner on Thursday, May 24 at noon MST.  I'll post the winner's name and contact them right after they're drawn.

Be sure to let your friends know!

  1. I think this looks awesome. It is a quick way to reference character training in a hurry, and it will help the kids start to look up their own Scriptures to start self-governing. Awsome all the way around!

  7. I not only want this for our family but want to share with others in my life as well. The task has been laid out for us, the parents, to train according to scripture as we are instructed, this Bible program certainly cuts out a lot of the work on our part. According to reviews, it is well worth having a few.

  8. I cannot wait to get ahold of a Child Training Bible! What a wonderful addition to a home! I've spoken with our children's minister and hope to get a few to give to parents as gifts at church!

  9. I believe that God instructs us parents to teach the Bible to our children. I have two under two so finding different ways to teach them is a little hard. We do it simple but as they get older this would definetely help to study more in depth with them.

  15. Might Psalm 119:105 become the strong belief of our children ... with the help of the "Child Training Bible"! Psalm 119:105 Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

  28. I am homeschooling my twin girls next year in Kindergarten. I am mostly so excited about being able to train them up in righteousness while they are home with me and not gone all day at another school. In order to do this, I am wanting them both to have the Child Training Bible as a quick reference while we are home together, encountering both good and bad behaviors and learning TOGETHER. I would LOVE the opportunity to win one set!!!! Since I have two boys as well, I know once they are bigger I'm sure I'll be needing two more sets anyway:) Thank you!!!!

  29. Love that this equips us as parents to quickly address issues biblically with our children and as they get older will help them to locate scriptures so they can speak truth to their heart or accurately share the Gospel :)

  30. What a great idea. I think the best way to use this might be as a study guide while children (and mommies!) are quiet and ready to listen with their hearts. :)

  34. I love this CTB. Scripture is alive and active and it is the best way (the only way IMO) to train our children's hearts. I would love to win this to create a Bible for training them.

  35. We love the Child Training Bible, it is such a wonderful go to resource for independent training. Set up the Bible with all the tabs and colored flags. Then when there is an area that needs correction just hand the Bible over to said child, and have them find a verse or two that speaks to their heart, then come and discuss it with their parent. Nothing speaks to a child's heart more than self reflection, especially when it comes from the Lord's Word. What a wonderful giveaway. P.S. So excited to find your blog as we live on the SE part of the valley so I loved reading tour Desert Life posts.

  38. This looks like it would be super easy to use with my kids! It seems I can never think of an applicable verse in the moment I need it, and this would help a lot!

  42. Wow, Q... quite the visitors list for this! Well, in the words of Mindy, I think this is a great way to "saturate the situation" with the Word of God in whatever we are dealing with. It's not because mom or dad say so but because "God says..." and we can easily find it, ask questions to get the heart of it, etc.

    I'd love to have this!!
