Homeschooling Resources Meme

Tina over at Being Made New tagged me, so aparantly I'm IT!

1. One homeschool book I have enjoyed:
The Bible!

2. One resource I wouldn't be without:
Old AFHE Convention speeches by Voddie Baucham, R.C. Sproul Jr., etc.

3. One resource I wish I had never bought:
Tapestry of Grace POP Quizes.  They do not align with what was studied that week, so what, exactly, is the point?

4. One resource I enjoyed last year:
Since we're at the end of our year, I'll share something from this year.  I've enjoyed the All Things Fun and Fascinating writing book from IEW.  And even more importantly, the boys have really enjoyed it too!

5. One resource I will be using this year:
To finish off our year we're doing the National Bible Bee.  Yes, of course it's set up for the government school summer break time, but that doesn't work for us.  So while we won't be competing or anything like that, we are going to work through it in October and November.

6. One resource I would like to buy:
Some super fabulous software for reinforcing math facts and learning geography.  I'd really like to get the boys using a computer, but alas, I've found nothing that actually works and isn't completely stupid.  If you have a resource for either, I'd love to hear about it!

7. One resource I wish existed:
Retirement with full pay and benefits for Mr Perfect so we could all spend a lot of time together, have more learning-by-assisting, and travel the country if not the world.

8. One homeschool catalog I enjoy reading:
Rainbow Resource Catalog.  Yes, I must admit that years prior I would, indeed, read the 1000+ page thing from (just about) cover to cover.  However, as I settled in to what worked for us that was no longer necessary, nor an interest.  But, while I don't read it anymore, it is a 'must have' catalog.

9. One homeschooling website I use regularly:
Actually, I don't.  If you are in need of input from other home educators, though, and can wade through a mix of world view, I'd recommend the Homeschool Lounge.  I do think I'm going to look into The Patriarchs Wives yahoo group.  A lady at church recommended it and upon closer examination I found it's many women from the Covenant Presbyterian Church.  Woo Hoo!  Same denomination, same world view!

10. Tag other homeschoolers:
