Got Fabric?

In hopes of a Sewing Group being put together at The Homeschool Lounge, I thought it would be a nice idea to suggest those interested clean up their supplies and sewing areas so we can start a new group with clean and ready-to-go areas and supplies.  There's just something encouraging and pleasing about walking into an ordered room, or an ordered corner, or opening an ordered sewing box, ya know?

For a while now I've wanted to get all my scraps and cuts of fabrics sorted by color, so I bought 10 boxes and spent yesterday afternoon sorting fabric.

It was like a treasure hunt to find it all . . .

Piles of yardage cuts under the cutting table.

Yes, that's a custom made light saber.
Come on - you don't mean to tell me you don't have a light saber in your sewing area?
Smaller cuts in a big storage bin under the cutting table.

Scraps from Kits and Caboodles in a big bin on the floor of the closet.

In a basket hiding in a niche behind the Koala Cabinet.

From recent projects in bins on the cutting table.

Underneath a pile of miscellaneous stuff.

Pulled from the bottom of a box that was primarily wool.

It's now all sorted, and I'll share that with you soon in a photo tour of Chaos.

The beauty of it is . . . there is ALWAYS room for more fabric!

Oh, an I don't happen to have a LIGHT SABRE in my home at the moment....darn. You never know when you need one of those, huh?
